- Assist the HDR Kansas Transportation leadership team with preparation of annual revenue forecasts and budgets; monitor performance of the business group; and lead business development that matches the interests and skill sets of the Wichita transportation team.
- Work cooperatively with MO/KS Transportation Business Group Manager to coordinate services with other business lines in the company.
- Assist with developing and implementing strategies to grow business and diversify the HDR client base in the Wichita area.
- Function as a senior project manager on projects in addition to management responsibilities, and also be administratively responsible for the group’s staff and technical service functions.
- Oversee quality of deliverables; manage projects, and market and position HDR for client and project pursuits.
- Manage, supervise, and mentor staff; provide technical direction and services.
- Represent HDR in Wichita area community and industry events and functions.
- Hire, train, and develop technical team members.

- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Experience in the management and development of multi-discipline teams is important.
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Transportation-related project experience preferred.
- Good leadership and organizational skills

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
- PE or equivalent licensure preferred.
- Business development and ability to cultivate relationships preferred.
