- Provide support and training of estimating processes, procedures and systems for junior estimators, interns, and other team members as necessary
- Maintain a physical presence onsite and provide assistance to specific groups, managers and project management teams as needed
- Contribute to and support value engineering exercises
- Develop project take-offs and equipment counts based upon the specifications and drawings
- Produce precise electrical estimates for various project types, including commercial, industrial, high-tech, and health care facilities, either independently or under the direction of a designated project lead
- Adhere to the PRIME Safety Program, complying with safety regulations, procedures and safe work practices
- May supervise or coordinate the work of others who assist in specific assignments
- Utilize technology such as BlueBeam, Accubid and LiveCount to perform and document electrical budgets.
- Participate in Estimating team and review meetings and clearly define your estimate work product.
- Create OneNote required documentation, qualifications, and exclusions

- Knowledge of and experience with Accubid and LiveCount
- Utilize understanding of basic circuitry and wiring methods for electrical systems
- Read and understand civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, tele data, security, fire alarm, audio visual plans, and specifications as they relate to the electrical work
- Knowledge of Electrical Materials and their applications
- Demonstrate an understanding of, and clearly communicate, estimated scope of work
- Ability to train and educate others on estimating procedures and software
- Experience with preparing, completing, explaining, and reviewing estimates with Chief Estimator, Internal, and External Customers
- Strong work ethic
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to grasp and follow existing estimating process and procedures
- Knowledge of NEC, local codes and construction methods
- Strong organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking and communication skills
- Work is primarily performed in an office setting with minimal health or safety hazards. Noise level and temperature is moderate. Minimal lifting or climbing. This position is expected to be fully in-person, onsite, with some travel not limited to, other offices, work sites and local business errands. Requires operating office machines such as, but not limited to, computers, copiers, scanners, and phones

- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
