Reporting to the Sr. TSLOTS Brand Manager, the Customer Account Representative serves as the single point of contact for TSLOTS customers, focusing on timely order processing and clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders. This role acts as the customer's champion throughout the organization.
The position bridges external customers and internal departments such as Sales, Production Planning, Scheduling, Quality, Operations Management, CAD, Accounting, and Information Services. It plays a key role in fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, learning, and personal growth within the company.
- Provide prompt and accurate follow‑up to customers and internal functional areas.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and operations staff to balance customer requests with plant capacity.
- Communicate and resolve quality, priority, and expectation issues across internal departments.
- Assist planners and schedulers to ensure orders fit within manufacturing capabilities.
- Analyze order, forecast, financial, production, and capacity data to proactively address potential problems.
- Develop strategies to reduce costs of multi‑delivery and mixed‑product loads.
- Act as the customer's champion, promoting service excellence while meeting profitability targets.
- Support field sales in evaluating new business opportunities aligned with manufacturing capability.
- Manage and track metrics for the "On Time and Complete" delivery model.
- Balance short‑ and long‑term manufacturing capacity with customer expectations.
- Alert manufacturing to special or unusual orders and provide accurate routing instructions.
- Connect with customers in a caring and conscientious manner.
- Exercise sound judgment in decision‑making.
- Stay current on market trends and competitive dynamics.
- Advocate tenaciously for organizational and customer needs.
