What you would be doing

- Will provide daily reports of observation and test results
- Perform analysis or calculations to check accuracy, applicability and reasonableness of testing data
- Will interact with client representative (supervisors, foremen, project managers, engineers, etc.) at project sites
- Will assist in the lab conducting asphalt, aggregate and concrete testing as needed
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Will monitor work procedures for compliance with project specifications
- Will perform soil, concrete, asphalt and masonry testing

- Ability to work in variable outside conditions
- ACI certification
- Ability to prepare reports and documentation
- Must pass background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
- This position requires the successful candidate to utilize a WSP Fleet Vehicle(s) in the performance of their duties. Candidates must be eligible for coverage under WSP’s fleet policy, which requires drivers to be at least 21 years old.
- 1+ years of Materials Testing experience
- Reliability – must be able to arrive at designated project sites prior to scheduled times
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability and willingness to travel within New Mexico. Approximately 30% overnight travel
- Construction Materials Testing Engineering Technician needed to join our Albuquerque, NM team to perform field inspections and observations for roadway, structures, utilities, dams, airports and bridge construction projects
