Work as part of a team responsible for the maintenance of various sites
Conduct preventive maintenance activities to extend the lifespan of all mechanical plant equipment and systems, including: FCUs, AHUs, Calorifiers, ASHP, Heat exchangers, Pumps, and motors.
Use their own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with minor works activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
Have the ability to meet with a variety of Clients to represent the Company and remain courteous and professional in your dealings at all times.
Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered
Accurate completion and timely submission company documentation (Hard copy or electronic) as required per contract.
Participate on the companies on call rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover
Maintain the above equipment in line with contract specifications and industry guidelines whilst complying to company health and safety policies

Experience in planned & reactive maintenance
Be confident in using building management systems (BMS) to understand the performance of the HVAC equipment, identify faults and rectify
Have a sound understanding of the current edition of BS7671 and associated IET guidance documents in relation to best practice and principals.
Proven experience as a maintenance engineer in building services
Hold a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to commercial planned, reactive and remedial maintenance
NVQ / C&G Level 3 in HVAC/ Electrical Engineering or Building Services Technician
Gas Safe registration commercial gas, COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, Unvented Hot Water.
Asbestos Awareness Training
IOSH Working Safely / CSCS Card
Current Full UK Driver’s License
Be able to undertake Non Personnel Police Vetting level 2
IPAF Licence
Be suitably experienced to perform routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical systems and electrical systems including all on-site HVAC equipment, mechanical plant equipment, general electrical and plumbing systems
