The Project Manager owns the full project lifecycle—from controls design and installation to retro‑commissioning—ensuring delivery that meets or exceeds budget, schedule, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Respond to RFQs/RFPs and present at project interviews.
- Define project scope, schedule, deliverables, risks, and expectations with clients.
- Draft proposals outlining scope, schedule, deliverables, success measures, and fees.
- Create internal work plans covering revenue, labor, cost, travel, sub‑consultant budgets, and reimbursements.
- Develop budgets for controls installation balancing internal and external resources.
- Enter revenue and budget estimates into the ERP system.
- Coordinate with leadership to resource projects per budgets and schedule.
- Schedule tasks and resources to meet timelines within budget constraints.
- Conduct project kick‑off meetings and maintain communication throughout.
- Manage team members and sub‑consultants to achieve project objectives.
- Track and report project performance against schedule, deliverables, cost, and revenue.
- Provide technical direction or execution as needed.
- Manage client expectations with regular updates.
- Close out projects and complete all commercial deliverables.
- Participate in professional organizations for networking and development.

- 5+ years experience in engineering, construction, facilities management, or energy.
- Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple fast‑paced projects.
- Knowledge of industry trends and competitors.
- Ability to multitask and take on duties beyond the defined scope.
- Preferred: experience in controls, construction, facilities management, or energy sectors.
- Preferred: completion of internal Project Management training (for internal candidates).
