Overview
Design and manage water/wastewater infrastructure projects
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Perform site work as required. -Prepare project deliverables, including engineering reports, plans, specifications, estimates, project memorandums, and other documents as required. -Manage design tasks and identify changes and risks. -A member of and/or actively participate in local professional practice organizations. -Plan, schedule, coordinate and oversee the work of lower-level engineers. -Support preparation of design plans, cost estimates and special provisions. -Determine client requirements and contribute to the development of scopes, schedules, and budgets. -Perform complex design tasks and develop drawings using AutoCAD and other software systems. -Perform specialized assignments which call for an application of professional expertise. -Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. -Develop memorandums and other written technical documents.

What You Bring
-Brings knowledge and understanding of drinking water and/or wastewater management strategies and solutions. -Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. -Licensed professional engineer. -Experience in pipeline and pump station design, including developing and evaluating project alternatives. -Experience in treatment processes. -Experience leading design tasks. -Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills. -Ability to think strategically and creativity, and craft approaches to challenging problems. -4-7+ years of experience in water/wastewater facility design and engineering. -Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. -Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
