In this role you will be responsible for executing and maturing our flange‑to‑flange supplier network through lean applications and roadmaps, aiming to improve GE’s overall supply chain. The position focuses on driving change across the wing‑to‑wing supply base to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost at supplier sites.
Key duties include providing technical expertise to suppliers in process development, capacity planning, and inventory management; leading value‑stream analyses and Kaizen events; and applying Lean and Six Sigma tools to drive systemic quality improvements and reduce waste. The individual will also conduct root‑cause and trend analyses, facilitate cross‑functional problem‑solving teams, train internal staff on Supplier Lean governance, and communicate periodic supplier performance and risk assessments.
- Provide technical expertise to suppliers in process development, capacity planning, and inventory management.
- Lead value‑stream analysis and Kaizen events with key suppliers to meet strategic goals.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to drive systemic quality improvements and reduce defects and waste.
- Conduct root‑cause and trend analyses (e.g., DPPM, DMR) and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate cross‑functional problem‑solving teams and train internal staff on Supplier Lean governance.
- Prepare and communicate periodic supplier performance status and risk assessments.
- Deploy GE Vernova’s Supplier Development procedures and support global sourcing strategies for F2F commodities.

Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (a master’s is a plus), 6–8 years of manufacturing or operations experience with proven Lean roadmap creation, and 2–3 years of materials or procurement experience. Candidates should hold a Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, be able to travel at least 50%, reside in the U.S., and possess strong analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

- 6–8 years of manufacturing or operations experience with proven Lean roadmap creation.
- 2–3 years of materials or procurement experience; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or equivalent certification.
- Ability to travel at least 50% and work remotely from the United States.
- Proficiency with engineering drawings, Microsoft Office suite, and strong quantitative/analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities; strategic thinker in a matrixed environment.
