Key responsibilities include working on low and high voltage cables while adhering to HS&E guidelines and procedures. The role requires HV and LV cable jointing, including live LV jointing, and participation in construction and maintenance of the network. Experience with Paper Lead, XLPE, Supervisory and 66 kV cables is preferred.

Perform HV and LV cable jointing, including live LV jointing.
Conduct cable hauling and associated civil work.
Follow HS&E guidelines and procedures on the network.
Work with Paper Lead, XLPE, Supervisory and 66 kV cables.
Maintain construction and maintenance activities on the network.
Meet project productivity and target cost objectives.
Adhere to VESI training and health & safety standards.

Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of health and safety practices and be VESI trained and current. Required qualifications include a Cert III in Cable Jointing, a Medium Rigid Truck Licence (or higher), EWP certification, High Risk Work licence, Dogman licence, and a Construction White/Blue Card. Desirable additional licences are forklift and experience on the CitiPower/PowerCor network and with ID&Spike cables.

Hold a Cert III in Cable Jointing.
Hold a Medium Rigid Truck Licence (or above) and EWP certification.
Possess licences for High Risk Work, Dogman, and a Construction White/Blue Card.
Desirable: Forklift licence, experience on CitiPower/PowerCor network, ID&Spike cables.
