Assists and supports the project finance department in preparation for invoicing, periodic reports, forecasts, and audits.
Consistently collaborates with construction/project manager and project team. Proactively identifies, handles, and resolves potential problems, work issues, or schedule challenges. Develops and implements recovery plan. Works with project team to anticipate and resolve project issues.
Communicates with the project teams to define scope of work, need for change to budgets and schedules, and identification of variances from the original plan.
Analyzes the trending and presenting schedule, progress, and cost information to project personnel.
Ensures that the project control systems are fully implemented to meet project needs, progress reporting, and earned-value analysis requirements.
Creates the control budget using the estimate and maintains project budgets for the duration of the project.
Ensures consistency and adherence of site and district project controls policies, procedures, and standards.
Responsible for the timely issuing off all project reporting (progress, cost, schedule, etc).
Collaborate with the scheduling team in the development and maintenance of resource loaded schedule
Identifies the project scope and change management process and ensures timely completion and issuance of estimates or impact analyses to stakeholders.

Knowledge of and exposure to the construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, and methods and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Knowledge of all project management functions including scheduling and planning, cost control and forecasting, progressing, change management and document control.
Advanced organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines
Previous experience managing Project Controls on construction projects valued $50M+.
5 to 8 years of project controls experience in construction or related field.
Strong analysis and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to adapt communication style across multiple departments and functions including clients, supervision, and craft workers.
Advanced business acumen and commercial awareness.
