- Respond to client requests with consultation, scope of work, and material drawings
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Coordinate daily operations and prioritize design requests to meet deadlines
- Help set performance standards, lead times, and metrics for design output
- Participate in hiring decisions and assist with onboarding and training
- Maintain CAD block accuracy and design standards
- Create and review factory shop drawings for custom and new product designs
- Contribute to spec sheet creation and new product ideation
- Collaborate across departments to improve processes and resolve design-related issues
- Manage software subscriptions and troubleshoot technical issues

- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Inventor (3D)
- Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions
- Strong understanding of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and design documentation
- 5+ years of CAD design experience in a related industry
- Familiarity with business tools such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Outlook, and Excel
- Open to learning new skills and adapting to company growth
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Design-related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of construction, architectural, manufacturing, or mechanical design preferred
- Willingness to travel to Denver for training or quarterly visits
- Action-oriented mindset with ability to execute plans
