The purpose of this role is to support all production‑related activities, such as setting up machines, making splices, and interpreting job orders, specifications, and inventory data.
- Maintain acceptable housekeeping, including no‑work areas.
- Set up the machine.
- Make splices.
- Record material transactions in the ERP system (Syteline).
- Read and interpret specifications on the Job Operating Listing Report.
- Identify acceptable and unacceptable quality via web inspection.
- Reduce waste.
- Improve machine efficiency.
- Handle raw materials without damage.
- Disassemble and clean support equipment (pumps, hoses, filter housings, etc.).
- Assist on prime equipment machines as needed.
- Check and restock storage cabinets on assigned machine.
- Attend monthly safety training sessions.
- Maintain a safe work area and complete daily safety checklist.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
