Internship - Safety

Description

The Safety Intern will join Hooper’s dynamic safety team, applying classroom knowledge to real‑world construction settings, expanding a professional network, and helping to implement safety standards for a secure work environment. The internship runs over the summer months as a full‑time program.

• Work closely with experienced professionals as part of project teams.
• Participate in Hooper’s Capstone Project and various intern events.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for safety.
• Prior exposure to the construction industry is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
• Willing to travel to job sites and engage in fieldwork as needed.
