  • Collaborate with teams of engineers and architects to complete project deliverables.
  • Meet client expectations for budget and schedule while delivering a quality product.
  • Increase proficiency in relevant design, modeling, and analysis software applications such as Revit, ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel, SteelSmart, and Simpson CFS Designer.
  • Coordinate design work with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
  • Assist with budget estimates and write-ups for proposals.
  • Increase your knowledge of local codes and industry standards.

This is a full-time remote opportunity, however – we are seeking a candidate that is based close to a Pacific Northwest NV5 office (Seattle, WA; Vancouver, WA; Portland,OR)

  • B.S. Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • Revit experience including modeling and producing construction drawings is preferred.
  • Experience with seismic evaluations and retrofits per ASCE 41 a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant structural engineering design experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood).
  • Experience assembling calculation packages for submittal to agencies (DSA and HCAI a plus).
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in the State of Washington or Oregon.
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices specific to high-seismic regions.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel).

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include restricted stock units, performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, PTO, 401(k), unlimited FTO (Flexible Time Off) and professional development opportunities.
