The Land Officer will secure land rights and statutory consents for the electricity distribution network (33 kV and below), lead negotiations with landowners, manage the full land rights process, advise project managers on strategy, prepare legal documentation, conduct site visits and support statutory applications and hearings.
The role requires in‑depth knowledge of the Electricity Act 1989, Town & Country Planning Act, property law and agricultural practice, practical experience in land rights negotiations within utilities, excellent communication and stakeholder management, a solution‑focused attitude, and a full UK driving licence.
Two permanent full‑time Land Officer positions are available in Bonnybridge and Kilmarnox, offering a salary starting at £44,000 plus a strong benefits package, flexible working options across office, home and sites, and a 37‑hour week. Applications close on 23 January 2026.
