Leave Management: Handle the full lifecycle of FMLA and LOA administration, from initial notice to return-to-work, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate records of leave and accommodation requests, ensuring strict confidentiality and legal compliance.
Workers' Compensation: Manage the initial processing of Workers' Compensation (WC) claims and oversee the return-to-work process.
Employee Support: Act as the primary point of contact for benefits inquiries, resolving issues with providers, and explaining eligibility to new hires.
Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401(k) plans.

HR Knowledge: General knowledge of Human Resources procedures is a strong plus.
Attention to Detail: Strong research and analytical skills are required to ensure accuracy in processing and compliance.
Education: Associate’s degree in HR or related field required; Bachelor’s degree or SHRM certification preferred.
Tech Savvy: Proficient with HRIS databases and Google Suite.
Language: Bilingual (Spanish) is required.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Benefits and Leave of Absence (LOA) administration.
