The EEB is charged with conducting independent evaluations of CEEF-funded residential, commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs.
The EEB also provides information and input to the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) and assists the executive and legislative branches of state government with the formulation of policies and legislation to advance energy efficiency in Connecticut.
The Citizen’s Advisory Board for the CT Migratory Bird and Resident Game Bird Conservation Stamp Program consists of seven members appointed by the Commissioner of DEEP.

From a community of color, low-income community or community-based organization, or professor from a college or university in the state with expertise in environmental justice (1 seat)
Organizations having a record of activity in migratory or resident game bird or habitat conservation and individuals with expertise or recognized knowledge in an area pertinent and valuable to the program. (7 seats)
The general public (2 seats). Special interest will be given to applicants with an interest and familiarity with West Rock and conservation.

Who reside in a US census block for which thirty percent or more of the population consists of low-income persons who are not institutionalized and have an income below two hundred per cent of the federal poverty level (1 seat)

Benefits
The EEB guides the distribution of the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund (CEEF). Money distributed by the CEEF supports energy efficiency programs and initiatives and is raised through a surcharge on customer electric and gas bills, proceeds from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative and other sources.
