We are seeking a Performance & Customer Manager to support the Contract Manager on a newly secured IDC contract with NZTA across the Manawatū and Whanganui regions. In this role you will act as the primary link between the contractor and the principal’s customer, providing timely information, handling stakeholder queries, and delivering content for engagement activities. You will also report operational feedback, attend key meetings, and keep thorough records of customer interactions.

- Prepare communication and engagement collateral, attend workshops and meetings, and report stakeholder feedback to guide future strategies
- Maintain accurate records of performance, tracking customer requests, responses, and site‑specific engagement activities
- Liaise with landowners, stakeholders, and local authorities; assist with site visits; monitor public relations matters; contribute to reports and additional duties as required

- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in customer coordination, stakeholder engagement, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of departmental processes, contract requirements, and engagement activities
- Proven ability in effective communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving with customers, stakeholders, and landowners
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple engagements
- Confident in preparing communication materials and supporting site‑specific engagement activities
- Ability to attend and contribute to meetings, resolve operational issues, and respond to queries promptly
- Current class 1 driver’s licence
