Oversee all Clipper technical writing activities, ensuring accuracy, clarity and compliance.
Support the development and training of assembly teams on new or improved processes.
Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing and repair methods through technical knowledge of product design, materials, tooling, production equipment, assembly, and quality control standards.
Participate as an active member of the Clipper leadership team, contributing to financial planning, production strategy, and annual operating plans.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, Materials, Production Planning, Finance, and other internal teams to align engineering capabilities/solutions with production needs.
Establish, track, and report key performance metrics to measure departmental effectiveness.
Drive waste reduction by analyzing and minimizing scrap, rework, and inefficiencies.

Provide expert-level technical support to enhance production and quality processes.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) or Master’s in Electrical Engineering (MSEE)
MBA or equivalent business education.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate technical teams.
10 years of progressive electrical engineering experience, including 3 years in an engineering management or supervisory role within a manufacturing or energy environment.
Comfortable working hands-on with electrical systems.
Expert knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical PPE protocols.
Strong background in renewable power conversion systems
Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA, UL, and OSHA electrical standards.
Professional, composed, and collaborative demeanor.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Familiarity with PCB design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Creo/Pro-E or equivalent 3D design software.
Working knowledge of quality measurement systems.
Experience in renewable energy or power generation industries
