Forklift & Lull operators are responsible for operating and managing forklift and lull machinery to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities and to assist in the movement of items on the manufacturing floor during the process of operations with skids, piping, MCups, and other manufacturing tools & items.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials and products for damage or defects during handling. Report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Loading/Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks with materials and products, ensuring items are properly secured and accounted for.
- Comply with company policies and guidelines
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other plant personnel, including production, shipping, and receiving teams, to ensure smooth operations and resolve any material handling issues.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the forklift and surrounding areas. Assist with general housekeeping duties as required.
- Material Handling: Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the plant, including raw materials, finished products, and waste.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and equipment damage. Conduct daily inspections of the forklift and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Production Support: Deliver materials to production lines in a timely manner to support continuous operation. Remove finished goods and transport them to designated storage or shipping areas.
- Inventory Management: Transport materials to designated storage areas, ensuring that inventory is organized and accessible. Assist with inventory counts and documentation as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must have dependable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean back-ground check, and random drug screening consent.

- Previous experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
- 4+ years in tool / equipment maintenance field or
- 2+ Years of related experience
- Valid certification to operate forklifts
- High school diploma or GED
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
- Good knowledge of industrial equipment
