Lead the project governance lifecycle, including initiation, approval, monitoring, and closure
Produce high-quality, timely reports on portfolio performance, investment status, and risk profiles
Collaborate with business development managers, finance, project sponsors, and project managers to operationalise strategy and provide expert advice to senior leadership
Engage with internal teams and senior stakeholders to influence optimal commercial outcomes aligned with ElectraNet’s corporate strategy
Build and continuously improve governance and project systems and processes, ensuring clear visibility and control across the entire project lifecycle—from opportunity and bid, through contract negotiation, to project delivery
Maintain dashboards and analytical tools to track portfolio health and investment outcomes
Facilitate investment decision-making forums and coordinate the investment review committee
Develop and maintain governance documentation, including business cases, risk assessments, and performance reports

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to integrate portfolio strategy with business objectives and capital planning/regulatory environments

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline—or equivalent practical experience
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills; clear written and verbal communication; ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
Significant experience in portfolio management or a related function, ideally within infrastructure or energy sectors
