You can engage and build relationships with our technical engineering staff and proposal coordinators
Collaborate with pursuit teams and proposal coordinators on crafting, proofing, and reviewing marketing collateral content specific to each pursuit or audience and updating existing collateral, when necessary
Assist with drafting abstracts and presentation outlines for conferences
Leading theming and storyboarding for strategic pursuits
Customizing content for strategic pursuit proposals as part of maintaining strategic vision
Maintain and review content database, including bios, project descriptions, text library information, and other content as requested
Work with pursuit teams and proposal coordinators on win theme development and cover letters; identifying, crafting, and strengthening win themes; and maintaining the strategic vision throughout proposals or statement of qualifications
Coordinate with the Water Business Planning Managers, Regional Water Directors, Content Strategist, and Garver’s Communications Team on messaging for printed and digital marketing collateral
Provide cover letter
Draft and coordinate award submissions for industry associations (ACEC awards)
You will have the opportunity to flex your creative muscle by contributing to annual business-line-wide initiatives.
Develop and coordinate content for marketing collateral requests, such as fact sheets and brochures

Experience conveying technical content in an informal method for better reader comprehension
Experience taking ownership of assignments, time management, prioritizing, organizing, researching, creative thinking, and problem solving
Willing and able to travel
Proficient user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
You have good time management and the ability to prioritize assignments
Bachelor’s degree (English, Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field)
Experience communicating, coordinating, and maintaining content messaging for marketing purposes
Experience working with internal clients to provide drafts and incorporate feedback and meeting internal and external deadlines for assignments, such as proposals, abstracts, award submissions, and advertorials
Experience with maintaining writing styles and creating a unified voice
Experience as a proposal coordinator or content writer for A/E/C firm
Experience setting and communicating priorities to project teams, while managing multiple, often fast-paced projects
You can collaborate with engineering and marketing staff
Minimum of 5 years previous proposal development experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry
