- PCB/Hardware Design Assistance: Contribute to schematic entry and PCB layout tasks under the guidance of senior engineers using Altium Designer.
- Testing and Lab Work: Support the setup and execution of tests on prototype circuits and systems, including functional and performance testing of UPS and STS units.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare test records, reports, and technical notes summarizing results and observations.
- HIL Testing Assistance: Contribute to HIL setup development and real-time testing tasks under the guidance of senior engineers using Typhoon HIL setups.
- Tracking personal progress on assigned design tasks (e.g., circuit block design or test setup).
- Occasional visits to the manufacturing floor may be required.
- Simulation Support: Assist in developing and running simulation models using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSIM, or PSCAD to represent power electronic circuits and systems.
- Troubleshooting: Assist engineers in investigating issues and proposing potential solutions.
- Research and Learning: Stay informed about the fundamentals of converter topologies, control techniques, and new developments in power electronics.

- This role is based in an office environment with regular time in the lab for testing and prototype development.
- Currently enrolled in a PhD degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.

- Experience with Python, or data acquisition systems for test automation.
