Project Manager (Water and Environment Infrastructure)

Description

• Deliver multi‑disciplinary complex projects within collaborative delivery teams.
• Manage client‑side aspects including stakeholders, health & safety, risk, quality, schedule and contracts.
• Ensure project outcomes meet client expectations for quality, cost and timing.
• Provide resources and support to project teams to satisfy client and business requirements.
• Oversee subcontractors and remote resources to maintain project performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and cross‑functional team members.

Requirements

The position is based in London’s Aldgate Tower, classified as hybrid work and reports to the DCS business group. Applicants must meet the essential qualifications outlined below and may be subject to security screening. • Proven infrastructure project management experience, preferably in the water sector.
• Hands‑on experience with NEC contracts (PSC, ECC, NEC3/4) and contract administration.
• Demonstrated ability to work in integrated, multi‑organisation collaborative teams.
• Excellent communication, organisational and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong initiative, able to work independently while supporting senior managers.
• Experience working within a client organisation or via co‑location/secondment.
• Proficient IT skills and adept use of digital project tools.
• High numeracy and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Relevant degree in project management, engineering, environmental science, construction or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Project management certification such as PRINCE2 or APMQ is desirable.
• Chartered status (or working towards) with MRICS, APM, CIOB or similar professional body is advantageous.
• Ability to complete required security screening checks.
