The Carrier Energy Account Manager will be responsible for building and nurturing long‑term relationships with utility stakeholders, managing master performance‑based agreements, and overseeing field trials that position Carrier Energy as a trusted partner in demand response, VPP orchestration and sustainable energy management.
The role requires influencing executive decisions, forecasting revenue, and developing scalable engagement strategies with utilities and partners throughout the full commercial launch lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with utility stakeholders to align Carrier Energy solutions with their business objectives.
- Collaborate with decision makers to maximize utility incentives, create new models, and integrate them into pilots and solutions.
- Act as liaison among utilities, partners, and internal teams to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Advocate for policies and incentives that support adoption of Carrier Energy’s offerings.
- Design scalable strategies for utility and partner engagement before and during commercial launches.
- Explore joint microgrid and energy‑management initiatives with assigned utilities.
- Support Carrier channels and partners in the territory to maximize portfolio adoption.
- Forecast revenue and adoption while driving account growth.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, at least six years of strategic account management experience, and three years managing initiatives with utilities; the candidate must be willing to travel up to 50 % domestically and possess strong communication, negotiation and cross‑functional leadership skills.

- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage ambiguity.
