- This role will deliver in the key areas of (1) strategy, (2) product and service delivery, (3) value pricing, (4) ongoing product management.
- Create and own the physical product component enhancement roadmap as it translates to the tracker system target markets.
- Collaborate with product development to define project scope
- Facilitate new product training overviews.
- Develop pitches that communicate to external stakeholders.
- Develop critical business relationships with key strategic, sales, and implementation partners. Build, establish, and maintain superior relationships with strategic partners to drive incremental revenue, expand our footprint, and capture new revenue opportunities.
- As product leader, create and defend the business case for enhancements.
- Drive innovation and execution of key new products for our utility-scale solar customers.
- Prepare internal and external product notifications as needed.
- Lead commercialization of new and existing offerings targeted at existing and new customers.
- Clearly define product and market requirements for product enhancements to tracker mechanical components.
- Develop and translate voice of the customer to deliver new and essential products and services.
- Prepare materials for gate approval meetings as needed.
- Work as part of core development teams in executing product changes and improvements.
- Stay informed on market trends, market requirements, PV module loading requirements, foundation technologies, best practice installation techniques, and other mechanical trends in the utility scale photovoltaic market.

- 5+ years of business, product management, program management, project management, or strategic consulting experience.
- Highly resourceful, hands-on problem solver.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to lead, manage, mentor and inspire others.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work equally well independently as well as part of a high functioning team.
- Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Travel as required (up to 25%)
- 5 or more years of experience with utility scale photovoltaic plant construction, sales or applications engineering in utility scale PV plants.
- Demonstrated comfort and willingness to move from strategic to tactical as needed.
- Ability to work across multiple organizations in a fast paced, smaller company environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, prioritization and multi-tasking abilities.
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- Entrepreneurial problem-solving attitude.
