6+ years

Experience with Comprehensive Plan Amendments (CPAs) and concurrency studies
Arterial and freeway traffic operations studies.
Access, circulation, and parking studies.
Highly motivated individual with genuine passion for transportation safety.
American Institute of Certified Planners certification or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Florida, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
PTOE and/or RSP certifications is a plus.
Progressive experience as a task manager/deputy project manager.
6+ years of traffic engineering or traffic planning transportation work experience.
Proven expertise with national and FDOT manuals and guides, including the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Project Traffic Forecasting Handbook, Traffic Analysis Handbook, Multimodal Transportation Site Impact Handbook, Multimodal Access Management Guidebook, and Traffic Engineering Manual.
Safety engineering studies and conceptual design.
Proficiency with Synchro and VISSIM, and TransModeler.
Travel demand modeling and forecasting.
