NexGen is seeking a Concrete Business Unit Leader to join its growing team. This travel‑based role will oversee concrete projects and manage a nationwide footprint.
The role includes supervisory responsibilities for building out both office and field staff, ensuring high‑performing teams and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in construction science, management, engineering or a related field, or possesses equivalent education and experience, with at least ten years of construction experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint, is required; familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and CMIC is preferred. Strong communication, analytical, problem‑solving, planning, and resource‑management skills are essential, along with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 25 lb (occasionally 100 lb), and exposure to varied conditions such as moderate noise, humidity, heat, cold, and occasional hazardous environments. Overtime and travel are expected, and reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
