Can maintain accurate records of measurement for direct works and subcontract works to support commercial team
Can develop RAMS
Can produce monthly reporting in line with contract requirements
Conducts themselves in a courteous and professional manner
Ensures project team and sub-contractor supply chain deliver to standards (Lead by Example)
Strives to exceed basic standards on site and proposes new innovations
Prepares daily and weekly progress reports, variation reports for the scheme
Can fully develop the weekly programme independently
Can oversee temporary works and fulfil requirements of procedure
Can carry out inductions and TBT briefings
Can support commercial team in production of variations and quotations
Maintains company quality assurance documentation for ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 systems

Minimum 10 years’ experience
Has a good all-round knowledge of basic engineering principles and Environmental constraints
Good communication skills, keeps colleagues/peers informed
Has ability to recognise defective works and rectify in a timely manner
Has experience in the management of sub-contractors
Experience in environmental activities within watercourses and adjacent and awareness of constraints and relevant protocols
Can consistently make decisions in line with position and level of authority
Experienced in the delivery of civil engineering schemes – below 500k and nomadic incidental works also
Holds a UK driving licence, clean or low on points
Has good understanding and experience in forms of Contract (NEC4)
Can compile efficiently the necessary documentation to complete H&S File and handover documentation
Remains focused can work well under pressure to meet deadlines
Experienced and competent in management of teams of 2 or more operatives on projects
Friendly and approachable
First aid at work certificate desirable
Is open to new ideas and listens to others point of view
