Review drawings, specifications, and schedules prior to tender issue for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all authority conditions, permits, and approvals are satisfied prior to commencement.
Undertake audits (e.g. MRWA) and assist with project close-out documentation and defect inspections.
Coordinate RFIs and minor drawing updates between site teams and the design office.
Prepare inspection reports, meeting minutes, and track project milestones.
Work directly with experienced Directors and Senior Associates.
Conduct constructability reviews and identify design risks or value-engineering opportunities.
Review progress claims, variations, and extensions of time (EOTs) for accuracy and validity.
Evaluate tenders for compliance, cost, and methodology, preparing recommendations.
Manage tender processes - documentation, contractor liaison, queries, and assessment.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven ability to liaise effectively with contractors, consultants, and authorities.
You MUST have proven local experience in a construction engineering role at a consultancy.
3-8 years’ experience in civil infrastructure, land development, or authority works.
Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and standards (MRWA, DTP, Austroads, local councils).
Demonstrated experience in contract administration (progress claims, variations, EOTs).
DAS accreditation or MRWA audit experience (highly regarded).
Competent with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (for mark-ups), and PDF editing tools.
