  • Test Strategy Execution: Participate in testing cycles for ongoing projects.
  • System Maintenance: Helping with the maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems and applications.
  • Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams on various technology initiatives and projects.
  • Technical Documentation: Creating or updating documentation for systems, processes, and projects.
  • Project/Task Coordination and Reporting: Help track and facilitate the completion of projects and tasks through reports, presentations, and other communication methods.
  • Sports and Recreation: Cheer on the Columbus Clippers (minor league baseball), Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL) or Columbus Crew (MLS) and enjoy various sporting events throughout the summer or catch a concert at the iconic Nationwide Arena, Schottenstein Center or KEMBA Live! venue.
  • Data Analysis: Assisting in analyzing operational data to identify trends.
  • Software Development: Supporting the development or enhancement of software applications used for tasks such as grid management, customer service, or billing.
  • Research Projects: Supporting research and development of new technologies, such as renewable energy solutions or smart grid technologies.

  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work in person 5 days a week in the greater Columbus region
  • Genuine interest in the electric utility sector, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices.
  • Graduation date of December 2026 or later.
  • Must have completed your freshman year of college.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science or Engineering, Data Analytics, Geographic Information Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a similar degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 10 - 12 weeks
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship, OPT, or CPT.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
