Provide investigations and solutions on civil problems/issues in the field.
Will routinely interact with other discipline engineers and designers (drafters) such as: Project, Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Controls.
Collaborate with drafters, modelers and detailers, as well as personnel from sales, estimating, operations and project management functions
Provide engineering design of special concrete structures including foundations.
Provide reviews, comments and determination of soil parameters from factual and interpretive soil reports.
The role develops site plans, plot plans, earthwork/grading plans, and temporary and permanent stormwater drainage plans for tank and terminal projects all over the world in accordance with governing codes and standards.
Design and analysis of foundations (both shallow and deep) for steel plate structures including flat bottomed cylindrical storage tanks, spheres, elevated tanks and other special structures.
Provide engineering requirements for ground improvement/reinforcement methodologies to support steel plate structure foundations.
Additionally, the role creates conceptual 3D models and renderings for use during project development by all shareholders. The skillsets relevant to the role would include site planning, grading/earthwork design, drainage system design, permitting knowledge, utility coordination, basic to intermediate level of geotechnical knowledge, good to strong communicator, attention to detail, well organized, and proficiency in relevant 2D/3D CAD site development design software like AutoCAD, Bentley Microstation, Civil 3D, and/or Bentley OpenSite Designer (Preference is to have Bentley software experience, but willing to train).

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Structural Engineering and/or Civil Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited school.
3 to 10 years of industry experience in civil structural engineering / foundation engineering.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Professional Engineering registered is desired.
Civil (Site Development) Engineer with 2D/3D CAD skills - The role reports to the Civil/Structural Engineering Discipline Manager and trains directly under a Principal Civil (Site Development) Engineer.
