Site Integration Engineer (Air Traffic Management)-Dubai, UAE-Duration 9 months-Arabic Speaker

Description

• Identifying risks and proposing effective solutions
• Defining and leading testing activities (regression, interface, simulation scenarios and test tools)
• Supporting the coordination of system integration activities on site, and delivering software integration services for systems and/or sub-systems of products
• To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended.
• Comply with local HSE laws and legislation.
• Providing support services through analysis and resolution of critical and non-critical incidents report by customer
• Support infrastructure configuration & testing activities in order to demonstrate the solution satisfies the user requirements
• Supporting the product integration and site verification phases
• Leading the integration & block testing of incremental software releases for products and/or projects, in accordance with the schedule
• Supporting the build and testing of product maintenance releases
• Authoring documentation and documentation updates
• Providing expert technical support to the software integration & development team during the implementation phases of the project
• Ensure both your own safety and the safety of others at all times.
• Lead by example and actively encourage departments to look at ways to conserve water & energy, minimise the generation of waste, and encourage recycling.
• Maintain an active role in achieving the objectives and adhering to the HSE Policy

Requirements

• Proven experience in site integration and system deployment, ideally within the air traffic management sector
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong knowledge of networking, hardware/software integration, and system deployment.
• Experience with the Red Hat Linux Operating Systems, including Kernel configuration, driver packages, performance tuning and automation
• Proficiency with specific operating systems commonly used in air traffic systems, such as Linux and Thalix
• Familiarity with a wide range of computer and networking hardware (preferably HP and Cisco)
• Strong understanding of air traffic control systems, communication protocols, and related infrastructure.

• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including Internal entities, Consultant, client and end users
• Solid understanding of software integration and testing processes including regression, interface, simulation scenarios and test tools
• Practical experience of integration of software / hardware components on large, complex, software-based systems
• Ability to troubleshoot, configure, and maintain systems across these OS platform
• Mandatory knowledge of TopSKY HE Product
• Solid experience in using UNIX/Linux operating systems, binary and source level debugging tools, Requirement/Test and Defect Management Systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Practical experience with programming languages such as; Java, Shell Scripting, Python and continuous integration tools such as Git and Jenkins
• A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science or IT
