Design Project Management
The role includes participating in the design process, overseeing more junior team members, and contributing to an environment that produces high-quality design output.
Working alongside Associates and other Senior Designer Project Managers, the Senior Designer is responsible for the delivery of aspects of specific projects from concept to completion.

- Represent our client in interactions with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Liaise directly with clients, operators, consultants, and contractors to ensure all project stages are completed to a high standard.
- Contribute to design and construction documentation, including presentations, drawing packages, specifications, and schedules, ensuring close collaboration between interior design and FF&E teams.
- Maximize team efficiency through workload management and appropriate task delegation.
- Develop design research for projects, especially during concept development; tasks include finding mood images for design approaches and researching site specifics.
- Attend client presentations as required.
- Mentor and support Designers in developing their skills and professionalism in client, customer, and vendor interactions.
- Provide technical and design guidance.
- Support the project team throughout all phases, from conception to completion, including all standard phases and documentation.
- Adhere to our client's stylistic design standards at every stage of the project.

- Assist with the production of concept information, such as presentation documents and material boards.
- Work with the FF&E team to develop materials for projects.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Uphold our client's standards in all design documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Assist the design team, manage the design development process, and facilitate communications with clients.
- Assist Directors and Associates in preparing pitch documents as needed.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop the creative vision for projects.
- Ensure coordination with the FF&E team on all project aspects.
- Support the team in maintaining and periodically reviewing project management documentation.

Strong verbal and written communication abilities are required, as the position involves frequent dialogue with clients and other project team consultants, supported by Associates and other Senior Designer Project Managers. An engaging and diplomatic manner is essential.
This role offers a high level of responsibility, representing our client to clients and the external network while contributing to the design and development of projects. The Senior Designer Project Manager should have a minimum of six years' experience in all facets of design and design project management, including high-end F&B, spas, and large-scale hotel developments. Passion for and knowledge of interior architecture and design, furniture, and product design is essential.

- Strong technical and construction knowledge.
- Demonstrate awareness of company policies and communicate concerns to Directors and HR as needed.
- Strong freehand sketching abilities.
- Creative problem-solving.

- High-level proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Strong managerial skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and work to strict timelines while supporting the wider team.
- Skilled in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
- Excellent sense for color and materials.
- Good knowledge of SketchUp.
