Description

• Contribute to dispute resolution strategies and processes
• Contribute to cost estimates and efficient project management under guidance
• Assist in relationship building within the wider SOCOTEC group
• Assist in preparing investigation Method Statements
• Participate in meetings and presentations as directed
• Ensure activities comply with relevant regulations and standards
• Support internal SOCOTEC expertise in producing competent project deliverables
• Support experts in project delivery and team coordination
• Work collaboratively within high-performing teams
• Attend site investigations when requested under supervision
• Assist in delivering project requirements under the direction of senior team members
• Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks
• Conduct basic survey work as directed
• Support in maintaining relationships with clients, contractors and consultants
• Stay informed of industry trends and best practices
• Assist in developing relationships with solicitors through events and meetings
• Support opening-up works coordination and execution
• Apply technical knowledge to assist with various appointment types
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders under supervision

Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong knowledge of design procedures, construction mythologies and construction contracts
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Contractual knowledge and administration
• Analytical thinking and problem solving
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant employment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate construction discipline
• Extensive experience in contract administration within the construction industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
