- Prepare and/or review Smoke Control Rational Analysis (SCRA) reports.
- Ensure all designs are properly documented, justified, and traceable for authority approval.
- Provide technical support during design submissions and attend Civil Defence meetings as required.
- Coordinate with LDC architectural, mechanical, and specialist consultants to ensure integration and compliance of smoke management systems.
- Develop and validate smoke control strategies, ensuring adequate performance for various building types, including atria, basements, high-rises, stages/platforms, etc.
- Assist in the review and endorsement of Civil Defence packages submitted for permit.
- Lead and/or support the design review, and verification of smoke control systems (natural and mechanical) in line with SBC, NFPA, IBC, and local authority requirements (Civil Defense, MOMRAH, RCRC, etc.)
- Review CFD modelling reports, results, and input parameters to verify alignment with design intent and code requirements.

- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in smoke management design and CFD based verification.
- Strong familiarity with SBC 2018/2024, NFPA 92, NFPA 101, IBC 2015/2021, and local KSA authority regulations.
- Prior experience supporting Civil Defense submissions and approval processes in KSA is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent technical writing and reporting skills.
- Experience using or interpreting results from CFD software (e.g., FDS, PyroSim, Pathfinder, or equivalent).
- Strong coordination and communication skills, particularly in multi-disciplinary environments.
