Keep supervisors and coworkers informed, sharing complete and accurate information with others.
Prepare and modify electrical and roadway drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, graphs, and construction drawing packages.
Develop a working knowledge of telephone, cable, and other communication facilities.
Collect field data utilizing laptop computers, tablets, GPS, and other electronic devices for input into database software.
Operate necessary equipment to take measurements on utility poles and mid-span facilities, and perform pole inspections and maintenance on pad-mount equipment.
Perform field technical services for the operation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical distribution systems, including system inventories and audits, joint use management and permitting, pad-mount inspections, ground-line pole inspections, metering and apparatus services, and lighting audits.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
1+ years of experience in Electric Utility or telecommunications field preferred.
Present ideas effectively in formal and informal situations, communicate well in writing, and maintain proper ethics in email and telephone communications.
Working knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and utility construction standards.
Technical aptitude and familiarity with engineering disciplines including design and constructability.
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Clear and valid driver's license required for travel to surrounding utility territories.
Entry-level position requiring an Associate's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar programs preferred.
Analytical competence to interact with engineers and other professionals.
Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
