Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments—painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs—responding promptly to resident service requests, and performing routine maintenance such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
The technician maintains grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog‑park amenities, participates in on‑call scheduling for after‑hour emergencies, reports maintenance concerns in vacant units and common areas, and adheres to fair‑housing and safety regulations.
Qualifications require a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification, ability to read policy manuals and maintenance instructions, basic math skills, and strong written reporting abilities. A high school diploma/GED (or trade/technical education) and at least one year of multifamily maintenance experience are required.
The Multifamily Maintenance Technician supports resident commitments by ensuring quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention. This full‑time, on‑site role is located at Orchards Apartments with a pay rate of $24‑$25 per hour.
The work environment includes a professional office setting with standard equipment, occasional travel between properties, and physical demands such as standing, climbing ladders, lifting up to 100 lb, and working in varied weather conditions.
