Analyze claims data to identify trends, root causes, and areas of risk exposure
Serve as a liaison between construction operations, legal, finance, and insurance providers
Manage and monitor claims related to general liability, workers’ compensation, builder’s risk, and subcontractor default insurance
Provide guidance on insurance coverage, policy interpretation, and claims best practices
Support training initiatives for project teams on claims prevention and reporting
Establish goals of “excellency” in work product and ability to constantly strive toward that
Maintain accurate and complete claim documentation in accordance with company policies
Coordinate with insurance carriers, TPAs, legal counsel, and project teams to ensure proper claims handling
Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards to senior management

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. 5–7 years of experience in construction claims, preferably in commercial construction.

Strong understanding of commercial construction operations and insurance policies (GL, AL, WC, Builder’s Risk, SDI)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
