  • Prepare and post journal vouchers to record customer transactions, ensuring accurate and complete recording in compliance with corporate accounting policies.
  • Apply and reconcile cash received from customers to customer invoices.
  • Work with the Customer Solutions team to investigate and resolve reconciling differences.
  • Support Shared Accounting Services projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Reconcile customer account balances to Cognera/ Fusion.
  • Respond to internal and external audit queries, and participate in tests of controls and walkthroughs.
  • Set up or adjust pre-authorized debits for customers
  • Provide back-up for various Shared Accounting Services functions, as required.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with SAP and/ or Cognera systems would be a definite asset.
  • University degree / college diploma with a finance or accounting emphasis is required.
  • You will have 2 – 5+ years of experience in applying cash, performing account reconciliations, etc.
  • A proven team player with the ability to interact and work with people with a variety of backgrounds and at different levels within the organization.
  • Knowledge of cash management, basic accounting and working with customer accounts.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently with minimal supervision, and multi-task in a fast pace and demanding environment.
