Tasks

-Program Administration: Oversee all aspects of benefits administration, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness programs. -Benefits Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive benefits strategies that align with organizational goals, employee needs, and budget considerations. -Vendor Management: Manage relationships with benefits providers, brokers, and consultants, negotiating contracts, evaluating performance, and ensuring service quality. -Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance benefits administration processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience. -Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze benefits data, prepare reports, and provide insights to leadership for strategic decision-making, cost management, and program improvement. -Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and other applicable laws. -Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor benefits staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure efficient program delivery. -Employee Communication & Education: Develop and implement benefits communication plans, lead open enrollment, and provide ongoing education to employees to ensure understanding and engagement.

What You Bring

-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. -Program Implementation: Experience with wellness program design, benefits benchmarking, or strategic benefits planning. -Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. -Industry Experience: Familiarity with construction, industrial, or heavy equipment industries. -Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in benefits administration, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. -Leadership & Communication: Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to guide teams, influence stakeholders, and handle sensitive information with discretion. -Union and Multistate Benefits Management: Previous benefits management for multi-state or unionized workforces. -Certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred. -Work Environment: Standard office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. May occasionally require standing or moving between office areas. -Skills: Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, compliance requirements, HRIS/benefits systems, and vendor management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits
