Senior Associate Project Manager (Building Automation) - Automated Logic

Description

The Project Manager will manage projects according to established processes, delivering contracted scope on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include overall financial performance, project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and re‑estimating installation costs, as well as securing change orders for scope expansion.

Core functions cover financial analysis, schedule planning, subcontractor coordination, and communication. This includes performing actual‑vs‑estimated variance analysis, maintaining budgets and cash flow, creating detailed work schedules, conducting site visits to quality‑check subcontractors, documenting issues, and providing clear documentation to customers and internal teams while representing Automated Logic professionally.

• Manage projects to meet budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee financial performance: planning, billing, forecasting, A/R collections, cost re‑estimation.
• Perform variance analysis and maintain positive cash flow.
• Create and protect detailed project schedules, planning manpower needs.
• Conduct regular site visits to quality‑check subcontractors and document issues.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, securing change orders and corrective actions.
• Provide clear documentation and communication to customers and project teams.
• Represent Automated Logic professionally in meetings and protect company interests.

Requirements

Required qualifications are a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least three years of experience in building construction and HVAC or building automation. Preferred qualifications include one year of project‑management experience, a bachelor’s degree, PMP certification, risk‑management and estimation skills, strong problem‑solving abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project, and excellent written and verbal communication.

• Minimum qualifications: High School diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, 3+ years construction/HVAC experience.
• Preferred qualifications: 1+ year project management, bachelor’s degree, PMP certification, risk management, strong problem‑solving, MS Project proficiency.
