Production Managers at LandCare are crucial members of the operations team, leading frontline crews to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety while creating inspiring landscapes. The role oversees production planning, cost estimation, and materials procurement, and is directly involved in hiring and training crew members. This position plays a key part in delivering beautiful, client‑focused results.
Production Managers partner with Account Managers and clients to conduct landscape quality audits, reviewing task execution, identifying maintenance needs, and recommending enhancements. They create detailed job service plans for each client using LandCare’s Aspire software and provide production planning, oversight, and guidance to supervisors and team members on job sites to ensure timely, effective service. The manager identifies opportunities to improve production methods, delivers additional training, and contributes to profitability goals by planning monthly operations, managing labor and material costs, and reviewing financial reports.
Managers oversee hiring and staffing to ensure teams are properly staffed and demonstrate leadership of a safety‑oriented culture, holding all members accountable to procedures. They educate and train crew members on safety topics and continuously mentor supervisors to develop talent and lead their teams effectively.
The salary range is commensurate with experience, typically $60,000–$80,000, plus an annual bonus, a company‑provided vehicle, and additional benefits.
