Bachelor’s degree in civil or Geotechnical Engineering. Master preferred.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to understand project and team roles and scheduling, budgeting, and efficient use of time and resources.
Licensed Professional Engineer in at least one jurisdiction with the ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.
Ability to lead technical teams and collaborate in a project team setting and interact with clients daily.
Understanding client expectations, budgeting, proposal writing, and producing highquality deliverables
Strong knowledge of civil and geotechnical systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards.
Basic experience in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with (but not required) AutoCAD Civil3D, Geostudio Software Suite, Plaxis, ENSOFT LPILE, FB Deep/MultiPier, DigiPro II, and gINT.
Minimum of 10 years of experience
An understanding of state and federal regulations and the ability to adapt to clientspecific requirements.
Strong understanding and technical ability in producing and leading teams through all phases of a design project (proposal, calculations, construction drawings, and final reports)
Excellent teambuilding skills and a willingness to work on multiple teams/disciplines with varying backgrounds.
Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage two or three direct team members.
Efficient project management/technical leadership of assigned tasks on multiple concurrent projects.
Travel/ client site, 10% to 20% of the time for project meetings Flexible office and field arrangements depending on project activities. Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods. Fieldwork may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
