Position Summary: This position performs all processes related to material follow up, providing visibility to management by tracking, processing, auditing, researching, and troubleshooting issues. It manages material flow from suppliers through to the parts distribution centers and uses operational standards to make decisions that affect supplier ship dates and overall customer requirements. The role interacts with and owns relationships with suppliers on behalf of the customer to ensure parts are shipped on time.
The role involves monitoring suppliers, communicating critical information, pushing for promised dates and quantities, holding suppliers accountable, escalating issues when needed, partnering with the team to drive performance standards, identifying continuous‑improvement opportunities, and completing other projects as assigned.
