Lead the integration of security governance into field operations and business planning
Lead projects to upgrade and standardize security infrastructure across the organization
Develop and execute the physical security strategy in alignment with enterprise HSSE objectives and global standards.
Ensure readiness for audits and inspections; maintain evidence of compliance and support continuous improvement of the security management system
Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., IT, Legal, HR, Operations) and external agencies (e.g., law enforcement, regulatory bodies) to ensure effective security operations and incident response
Oversee daily operations of all physical security programs, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations thereto
Drive adoption of new technologies and best practices in physical security
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth
Establish and maintain physical security policies, standards, and procedures while ensuring documentation is current and communicated to all stakeholders

Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
Advanced degree or certifications such as CPP/PSP preferred
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (NERC/CIP, ISO 45001/14001, ANSI/ASIS PAP.1) and industry best practices
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships
Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role is required
Ability to multitask, while working independently and as part of a team
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
Strong leadership and communication, and the ability to meet deadlines
A minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in physical security operations is required
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated expertise in access control, video management, and incident response systems (e.g., Avigilon, Lenel, Genetec)
Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive organizational change
