Residential Plumbing Service Technician

Description

• Safety Compliance - Follow all safety protocols to ensure plumbing systems are functioning safely and efficiently
• Customer Service Excellence - Provide top-notch customer service by answering customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with plumbing services
• Customer Interaction - Engage with homeowners to explain plumbing issues, provide accurate cost estimates, and recommend the best products and services for their needs
• Installations - Install and replace plumbing systems and fixtures, such as sinks, faucets, toilets, and water heaters, ensuring that all work adheres to safety and building codes
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics - Inspect plumbing systems to diagnose issues, identify the root causes, and resolve them in a timely manner
• Documentation - Use Service Titan software to document work completed, track materials, and update work orders
• System Inspections - Perform plumbing system inspections to check for functionality, water quality, and safety
• Code Compliance - Ensure that all plumbing work complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes and regulations
• Plumbing System Repairs & Maintenance - Perform a variety of plumbing services for residential customers, including toilet repairs, faucet installations, water heater replacements, and general plumbing repairs

Requirements

• Problem-Solving - Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to resolve plumbing issues quickly and efficiently
• Driver’s License - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Licensing - Valid plumbing license in the state of New York
• Service Software - Experience with Service Titan or similar trade software is a plus
• Experience - 3+ years of experience as a residential plumber, including repairs, maintenance, and installation of plumbing systems
• Customer-Focused - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain plumbing issues and solutions to customers in a friendly, clear manner
• Attention to Detail - High attention to detail to ensure work is completed to code and with the highest quality standards
