Attend field design meetings with relevant utility companies;

Knowledge of how to perform load calculations, short-circuit, and coordination studies;
Understanding of distribution system impacts associated with the interconnection of distributed energy resources (DER), as well as techniques for mitigating common distribution system impacts;
Experience with power systems modeling software such as SKM, Aspen, or PSSe
Ability to use design standards to complete engineering deliverables and perform analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
Co-Op/Internship Experience in the power industry
