Receives coaching, mentoring, and feedback from service leadership.

Adjusts, connects, or disconnects wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts.
Attends Technical and Soft Skill classes and successfully incorporates skills learned.
Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet, and climb up and down ladders.
Regularly works indoors and outdoors around moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity.

Visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination, and manual dexterity are necessary to operate equipment.

Gains knowledge of and assists with the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment.
Be able to safely maneuver and work around equipment.
Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment.
Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
Valid Driver’s license required.
Ability to read, write, and interpret information.
Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
Up to one year of relevant experience preferred.
Ability to follow directions and guidelines.
Knowledge of basic arithmetic and its applications.
Ability to learn many different types of repair procedures on a variety of mechanical equipment.
