To review and ensure that all required mandatory plans required by JEG EHS remit are in place on all projects ensuring full compliance.
Support safety officer on project to ensure they have adequate resources etc. throughout the course of a project.
Advise, plan, prepare in coordination with discipline leads and assist in implementation of the 'Safe systems of work', for all work tasks.
Advise, plan, and assist in implementation of the company training plan for all personnel.
Monitor accidents/dangerous occurrences on Sites and provide regular reports with advice on remedial action.
Ensure that the Company’s obligations for the Health and Safety of people other than the company’s employees are taken into consideration, i.e., subcontractors, clients, consultants, and the public.
Carry out Monthly Safety Audits on sites.
Attend Jones Management Meeting as required.
Provide regular input to the continuous improvement log (lessons learned), implementing changes where deficiencies are identified and corrective actions proposed.
Assist with drafting and issuing Lifting Plans for sites.
Issue monthly EHS stats and reports to Jones HQ.
Attend training as requested.
Ensure all safety documentation for contractors is uploaded to Jones Dulann system.
Direct line of report Project Director or Project Manager depending on project size and structure
Advise, plan and assist in implementation HSE Plan for each individual project.
Advise each project and company management on Health and Safety requirements for each individual project.
Review safety requirements and regulations for each region and advise management on any specific health and safety standards that need to be implemented.
Assist Pre- Construction Manager, MEP Manager and Estimating Team to ensure robust tendering as regards HSE requirements for projects.
Ensure each project is adequately resourced with safety officers.
Liaise with GC appointed Safety Representative as required for each project.
Advise, plan and assist in implementation of Waste Management plan for each individual project.
Liaise with Client appointed Safety Representative as required for each project.
Assist with ISO auditing and certification as required.
Advise, plan and assist in in coordination with Commissioning Manager implementation of LOTO procedure for each individual project.
Provide or organize training courses to meet identified needs on sites.
Maintain safety stats for all projects and issues to the respective Project Managers and Senior Leadership Team.
Attend site safety meetings and chair site safety meetings as required, ensure minutes of meetings are recorded.
Monitor all aspects of Safety and Health performance in the Company and inform the Senior Management Team as to any problems or other pertinent matters relating to Health and Safety matters.
Attend Meeting with Jones HQ as required.

Review of safety documents issued by sub-contractors.
Promote safe workplace.
Monitoring Project safety folders to ensure all adequate safety information is compiled.
Advise, plan and assist in implementation of the Fire & Emergency plan for each individual project.
Ensures that Laws, Regulations and Directives, which impinge on company activities, are complied with and maintained.
Advise on and monitor statutory tests and inspection of plants and equipment for each site.
Assist with drafting and issuing Method Statements & Risk Assessments.
Ensure awareness and compliance of the QSP’s which are located and maintained in the JEG Group Quality Library.
Implement Jones Engineering reporting process for any accidents or incidents on site and inform Jones Management team of any accident or incidents on site immediately.
For all sites under remit ensure all safety documentation for subcontractors is collated and uploaded to the JEG Dulann system and follow up with Dulann administrator for any required approvals.
